Hey hey,
I hope you had a weekend that was as wonderful as mine. I was in PTA and had a nice time with some friends, particularly two of my girls. It was at this time that I had a paradigm shift…(don’t ask)
So, what I would like for you to ponder this week is a concept that sometimes is tricky to understand; the concept of Friendship.
Today I’m just filled with GRATITUDE for all those that I call my friends and I pray that while contemplating this phenomenon, you may realise and appreciate the friendships that you have.
And as I’ve just learnt, the distance between a GOOD friend and a GREAT friend is not measured in miles, but in millimetres. It’s the small things that make all the difference; a smile, a simple ‘thank you’ or ‘you rock’, sitting in silence or just listening.
May the love of Christ abide in you always.
Quotes!!
As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27: 17(NKJV)
Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are lavish and deceitful. Proverbs 27: 6
No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends. John 15: 13
Love, Light and Friendship,
