Doing Good 16/05
Morning,
Had a wonderful weekend brandishing my baking skills and now I can add Malva pudding to my repertoire.
Today, I want you to ask yourself;”What am I doing for humanity?” this is a question I often ask myself. Some talk about making a difference, others do it and sadly, a lot of people never even contemplate the question of doing something for the greater good.
Whatever you deem is your contribution to society; a selfless act of love, then just do it! Never ever get tired of doing good.

Morning friend,
I had an awesome weekend!!!!!!!!!!
Went to Giyani in Limpopo for my friend Thuli’s Lobola negotiations and I must say that Masego and I enjoyed ourselves. I even ‘Cina Cina’d’ (Tsonga dance in a heavy pleated skirt). However, what struck me the most was how beautiful and GREEN Limpopo was. For a second I started wondering if Tarzan was going to swing by on a tree branch (that’s how beautiful the place is).
I sincerely hope that you had a wonderful Easter, went to church and didn’t eat too much pudding…a moment on the lips, a life time on the hips *lol*

You Rock! 19/04
Hey hey,
I hope you had a weekend that was as wonderful as mine. I was in PTA and had a nice time with some friends, particularly two of my girls. It was at this time that I had a paradigm shift…(don’t ask)
So, what I would like for you to ponder this week is a concept that sometimes is tricky to understand; the concept of Friendship.
Today I’m just filled with GRATITUDE for all those that I call my friends and I pray that while contemplating this phenomenon, you may realise and appreciate the friendships that you have.
And as I’ve just learnt, the distance between a GOOD friend and a GREAT friend is not measured in miles, but in millimetres. It’s the small things that make all the difference; a smile, a simple ‘thank you’ or ‘you rock’, sitting in silence or just listening.
May the love of Christ abide in you always.

Living life 12/04
Hey,
I know you were expecting this yesterday, but had to recuperate from my sister’s wedding this past weekend. I think the last time I slept properly was last Tuesday, so I was totally bushed.
The wedding was just too awesome! And scores of mothers have notified me that I’m their next Makoti, LMAO! *this was a major confidence booster*

Celebrate what's right with the world 04/04
Morning Beautiful Soul,
My morning didn’t start so well, actually, I got very frustrated and Emo very early. You might say that the reason for my frustration is my freakin’ door, but you and I would both be wrong. Apparently It’s my mind’s resistance to what is…yeah I know, that’s what I said! So, I want to tell you about celebrating what’s right with the world (DVD I watched) and not resisting change.
Your day might have started just like mine, full of drama; it might have started beautifully with birds chirping on every tree you passed. This state of being might change or it might not, but I want you to be prepared to embrace CHANGE and not focus on what’s going wrong with this day; week or month, but on what is RIGHT with it. What I’m talking about is emitting those vibrations or positivity I spoke to you about some weeks back; This is changing or preserving what’s fantabulous about NOW from an elemental level, from within to the whole UNIVERSE.
So as you begin to embrace and celebrate what’s right with YOUR world, make this small prayer with me(verse from my all-time favour song by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion, The Prayer).
I pray you’ll be our eyes, and watch us where we go,

Creating your week and Mine 22/03
Morning, morning, morning!
I was reading The Treasured works of Kahlil Gibran ( two friends of mine said on facebook; “Ka what?!”, lol they are the silliest girls) and the book is sooooo amazing! I know people are always saying that a book changed their lives, while you sit and think;”Please, you haven’t changed a bit!”, well it hasn’t changed my life…yet, but it was such an enlightening and thought provoking read (you can Google some of his poems). If you want to read a book and not a compilation, I suggest you try The Prophet by Kahlil as well, you won’t regret it unless you’re looking for Mills& Boon.
Today, however, I want to share with you the power of making a decision. Ralph Waldo Emerson (don’t ask who that is, I know how you are) said eons and eons ago, that Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen. Even if you want to get all religious and look to the Bible (which I do often) you will find agreement to this statement. There are just too many scriptures to mention (homework: read your Bible J). The simple yet crucial act of deciding on something is powerful enough to change the dynamics of the WHOLE UNIVERSE!... I don’t know about you, but that sound gigantic to me. Before a decision is made, lots and lots and lots of thought goes into it (conscious thought or subconscious…don’t fight just agree with me on this one)
So dear friend, today chose only the thoughts that you want to grow in the garden of your life; remember that each thought that you think is creating your future.

Morning!
I had a nice weekend and I found an outfit to my sister’s wedding, yey! But sadly, missed by friend Fez’s birthday do. So I’m hoping you had a fabulous one too. If not, don’t despair, you have today and the rest of the week to have an absolutely fantastic time. Today we have been blessed by RAIN! (I’m sure my roomy would say otherwise) so let it wash away the disappointments, hurt, feelings of not being good enough, anger and all unpleasantness; and let it rejuvenate and energise you…
Today I wanted to let you know that you are a bright shining STAR! There’s a Japanese proverb that says ‘When the character of a man is not clear to you, look at his friends.’ So you better be sparkling when I refer people to you.
